We know customers have many choices and we want their choice to be VAC!!
Product testing is performed at all points in the process—from design prototyping, to component testing, to assembly and to individual calibration testing, each unit is tested to insure a customer receives exactly what they are paying for. Additional testing is performed in conjunction with specific applications and troubleshooting, providing customers with detailed reports to help improve customer communication and education.
A key aspect of marketing our product is inventory. We have a network of stocking distributors that support the local markets where they are located and serve. Additional factory inventory is maintained in our Service Centers in Chelsea (Birmingham) Alabama and Manchester, England, where complete assemblies and spare parts are always “a day away”. This is an important aspect of our responsive service philosophy.
How We’ve Helped
A construction material company in the south was tired of dealing with so many different positioners in their plant. They had numerous pinch valves that had been retrofitted with V200s. They had a lot of success with the retrofit on pinch valves they started looking into retrofitting other control valves in their plant. The “other” control valves had very expensive positioners that were failing at a fast rate on top of the fact that the user did not need all the bells and whistles that came along with the expensive positioner. Now they have one positioner for all their control valve needs by keeping in stores different cams, and different spindles. This made working on positioners much easier since there is only one in the plant, and much easier on the plants budget. A win win for the distributor who calls on them and for the end user, another success story for VAC and the V200.
A VAC Distributor in the Northeast US working closely with a skid builder has specified the VAC D400 digital positioner as a standard offering on all control valves. Due to the custom nature of the skids this can present difficulties as many different types, brands and configurations of valves are needed. When the customer asked if VAC could supply mounting for the D400 to four different specialty valve configurations VAC answered YES!
The customer provided VAC with these special vacuum jacket insulated cryogenic valves. Each valve required a unique mounting solution as the actuators are from multiple vendors.
As an Independent Positioner company VAC easily provided the customer and end user with the same positioner on all control valves on the skid regardless of Valve Type, Brand, or Size, minimizing spares, reducing training, and increasing productivity and up time.
Ask VAC about improving your productivity and reducing costs with a comprehensive Valve Positioner Solution.
